What Bed Bugs Look Like
Do you have a case of bed bug bites? Bed bugs can be located anywhere. Your bed could contain thousands of bed bugs crawling and creeping onto you as you sleep. Bed bug bites look like welts, and can form patterns on you body.
These patterns are from the bed bud becoming unattached from host moving and reattaching. Sometimes the bites can be mistaken for a rash. However if there is any symmetry to the rash at all it is probably bed bug bites. The bites can last as long as a couple of weeks depending on how allergic you are. The itching will stop first then the bites will slowly disappear.
To get rid of the bites you will have to get rid of the bed bugs. Getting rid of bed bugs can be an extremely hard task to undertake. If you have a really bad infestation you will want to consider spending the money for an experienced exterminator. You will want to call references to ensure that the exterminator has actually gotten rid of bed bugs before. For more information on how to get rid of bed bugs yourself or how to prepare for an exterminator you can read my book The Bed Bug Invasion.
